BristolCon Fringe: September 2013 - Tim Maughan

November 11th, 2013

This is the second reading from the September 2013 BristolCon Fringe reading. It features Tim Maughan, who reads from part of his story, "Limited Edition", and the whole of "Zero Hours". The event is hosted by Cheryl Morgan.

After spending most of his life putting it off, Bristol based author Tim Maughan finally started writing science fiction back in the heady days of 2008. In 2011 he released the critically acclaimed Paintwork, a collection of three short stories dealing with the roles of art, celebrity and globalisation in a very near, and strangely familiar, future. His story “Limited Edition” (published in New Scientist‘s Arc magazine) was shortlisted for the British Science Fiction Association 2012 short fiction award, and he was recently included in SFX magazine’s ‘Hot 50′ for 2013.

BristolCon Fringe is a monthly reading series produced by the BristolCon Foundation. For details of future events, see our website.
